You Say It's Your Birthday! It's MY Birthday Too Yeah!

It is true. It is my birthday. As I said before, I love birthdays. And, I am a firm believer that every person should feel like the MOST important person in the world on their special day. Celebrate all day, all WEEK, if you can! LOL! I have been pretty fortunate, because my girlfriends & I started celebrating with lunch and shopping on Saturday. Then, Saturday evening, friends came over for a spontaneous grilled dinner and game playing. Then, on Sunday, other great friends came and brought lunch, played games, had cake. So Much fun! Then, today it was just a great day! Very blustery and cold outside, but a great day in spite of the chilly weather! Hey, at least the sun was shining all day long!

I got to sleep in a little bit, and John got the boys ready for school. Before they left, I saw this cute sight....Jackson & his big brown eyes waking me up to tell me Happy Birthday. I can tell the kids love celebrating about birthdays as much as I do. Of course, Jackson has a bit more vested in this. I suspect his mantra is, "Just get through today and it'll be my birthday next week!!!!" LOL! But, I love the sincere sweetness on his adorable face!

After Daniel & I took our piano lessons this morning, my friend Heather took me to lunch at the local Italian eatery called La Piazza. It's always so fun to get to visit with her! She brought me a beautiful bouquet of PURPLE and YELLOW flowers! My fave colors, and they are so beautiful!
It was a wonderful treat to get to spend part of my special day with such a caring girlfriend!

Afterwards, I got to talk to Suzanne on the telephone. When I got to the house, there was a package waiting for me from her! I opened it while talking on the phone with her, and it was almost like she was right here with me celebrating along side me!

I went home and was met by my other handsome children and their awaiting gifts! I got to open these lovely presents before my handsome men took me out for dinner to celebrate. What a fabulous day! I loved my gifts, and my cards, and how my fellas made me feel so special!!! They got me fabulous gifts and made me feel like I was the only birthday girl on the planet!

What an enjoyable day I've been able to be Blessed to spend. Everyone should feel that they are important, special, needed, appreciated, valued, and above all else, loved. Thank you for making me feel everyone of these things and more today! And, the cool thing....I have a few dates lined up this week to keep celebrating! I just may get my wish of having a birthday WEEK after all! Hmmmmm, we shall see. I'll keep you posted!
