Really Weird.....

When John woke up this morning, he told me that he was planning on taking the boys to a friend's cabin for some dad & boys time and some good ol' fashioned fishing. WOW! I didn't know this was in the works! So, the thing is, this has been such a weird day and evening. It's SO FREAKIN' QUIET HERE!!!! It's just been me and our dog, Maggie hanging out. I ran some errands today, had lunch with my mom, and then came home. I wasn't really sure what to do with myself since it was quiet, and I had a completely free agenda. I decided to.....do the dishes, do some laundry (SAD ISN'T IT???) and then watch a couple of DVD's. I saw Made of Honor with Patrick Dempsey and Memoirs of a Geisha. The first one was typical chick flick, but I liked it. The 2nd one was a bit intense! I'm glad I did it. I did enjoy having some much needed quiet time, but I miss those boys!!!! I don't think they've ALL ever gone somewhere and left me completely alone (well except for the doggie!) The plus side: I got to watch 2 dvd's uninterrupted. It was quiet. I didn't make any dinner or meals at all today, and I don't plan to do it, outside of putting chicken in the crock pot for dinner tomorrow! So, it's been a completely weird kind of day, and I actually think I am really anxious and glad have them come back home! Funny, sometimes this is exactly what you think you wouldn't mind having. But, now that I've had it, it's just completely WEIRD!!!!
