Cousins....Mine, Yours, Ours

It's always a treat to get to have a day of NO SCHOOL. But, it's an even BIGGER treat, when there's no school AND a 3D movie as part of the day. So, if you count those 2 things, PLUS the fact that we got to go to lunch AND spend all of this time off with our cousins, I mean, words can't express what kinds of smile abound at our house! Now mind you, we live close to our cousins. BUT, no matter what, these kids act like it's been EONS since they've been together. It's really comical, actually! I can't say as I blame them, because any chance I get to spend with Tracy, I feel the same way! Time always goes so quickly when we're together. I guess the old saying is true, that time really does fly when you're having fun! Tracy was the resident picture taker today. I have to say, her bringing her camera along everywhere she goes is becoming quite the little delight in my life! I think I just might have rubbed off on her! Delaney really didn't want to have any part of being in this photo op. But, her buddy Noah talked her into at least sitting on his lap. She held her ground and wasn't having looking up or smiling. She'd just be present, and well, we were glad for that. Of course, Tracy & I didn't want left out of the fun, so Noah gladly snapped our pic too. He really is turning out to be quite the little picture taker. One of my favorite memories of this day, as when all of the kids were outside playing in Tracy's front yard. The sun was shining, birds were singing, and the best part of all, all 5 of these children were playing, smiling and laughing. I've never seen smiles so big and genuine as the ones these children possess. There aren't any pictures of that, but they are some of the most vivid shots in my mind! Absolutely delightful! I'm glad we got the chance to have a fun filled afternoon with our cousins. We leave on spring break this week, and it'll be so hard to not get to see or talk to them for the entire time we're gone. BUT, that'll just help us have more stories to share, more laughs to laugh, and more time to spend when we get home! We are all already looking forward to the next time we'll be able to get together! Oh, and the kids are too! LOL!
