This is my friend Diantha and her 2 cutie children, Garret (2) and Madison (5). I just wanted to take a minute to tell everyone her fabulous talent! Well, actually there are MANY, but today, I wanted to especially thank her for the great gift she gave us a week ago Saturday. Diantha has a blog that you can click the link for on this page. Right away you'll notice her AMAZING photographs--that she takes HERSELF! These are the most fabulous pictures, in my opinion, and when I grow up I want to be just like her and her photographing self!!! I asked Diantha if she would PLEASE take our family pictures for our annual Christmas card. I had a couple of ideas in mind. Diantha graciously said she would do it. So, on a beautiful sunny (and windy!) day last Saturday, we went to Garbry's Big Woods near our house and she took about 85 different shots of the 5 of us. She took some of us as a family, just John & I, and the boys individually and the 3 of them together. I have anxiously been waiting for the fruits of her labor! Hee hee! Today she graced me with the CD and the images burned on there. OMG! Can I say how wonderful the pictures turned out? You will notice her artwork at the top of my blog page, and on the side bar with a pic of my handsome sons. I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE these pictures! The ones that were more "formal" were what I thought I would use, but it ended up that the picture I loved the most was one of us being silly, laid back, and relaxed. I love this picture! Of course, I loved almost ALL of them, so it was hard to choose which one to use for the Christmas card. THAT you will have to WAIT anxiously by your mail box to see! LOL! I'm such a tease! Hee hee! Anyhow, I only say that I loved ALMOST all of them, because, alas, there are a few unflattering pictures of my big derriere that I didn't need to publish! LOL! Oh well, she takes great pictures, she isn't a MIRACLE WORKER, folks! hee hee! Anyhow, Diantha, I love you, and you're a great friend! Thank you for your graciousness in taking these pictures as a favor to me! I can only hope to develop that skill one day. I also hope, that in some little way, I can be as good a friend to you, as you are to the five of us! Love you girley!!!
