Ah the autumn leaves, pumpkins, and farm animals? Well, that is exactly what we got when we went to Young's Jersey Dairy last Friday. The day was beautiful, and a bit warm for Ohio in October. But, we had such fun! We went to Yellow Springs, where Young's is located, and played 2 rounds of miniature golf (both hard & easy courses) ate lunch and went to the petting zoo. Of course, Young's is known for their yummy homemade ice cream, so we had to have that too!!!!
The boys loved it, because I let them play hookey from school (terrible parent!). I figured it's not every day your buddies come in for a surprise visit from Arizona. Plus, in my opinion, it WAS an educational experience....we had p.e. (2 rounds of putt putt golf), nutrition (lunch & ice cream), science (petting zoo), and chemistry (relationships with brothers/moms/aunties/Uncle Matt! Hee is a subject all of his own! LOL!) Who says learning can't be fun?!?!?! The fresh air and sunshine was wonderful!!! It was such a fun day, and a wonderful way to spend the last full day of Matt & Suzanne's vacation with them! SO FUN! Can't wait to do it again soon!!!
