So, we have been diligently celebrating our Valentine's week at our house. Every day the mailbox flag is up when the kids come home from school (and for John too!). The first words out of their mouth when they come in the door is, "Hi Mom! Is there mail in our mailbox? There is?!!! Yipee!!!" And, then they run over to our designated "Valentine Post Spot" and excitedly see what goodie has been left for them each day! It's made a holiday that I'm not particularly thrilled by into a really fun one! I am so glad they're enjoying themselves. So far this week, we've got All About Me dates, sleepover friends, Movie Marathon, and a Pizza Picnic! Oh, and let's not forget a special Dairy Queen lunch date with my favorite "Princes". It was truly a royal day for all! And, then of course, a little tiny sweet each day for the sweeties in my life. All four of them! What Fun! These activities together will help us to celebrate the "SPIRIT" of Valentine's for many days to come! Hope you are all enjoying your week too!
