Class Valentine's Parties

This is the first year for Daniel to participate in a school Valentine's Day party. He was so excited to write out his Valentine's for his classmates. He chose cute one's that were soccer themed, and transformed into a soccer field/game. Fun! Here are the wonderful notes of affection from his classmates and a photo of him with the envelope they made in class today to hold them in.
While it was Daniel's first year of parties at school, it is Jackson's 4th. And, in the 3rd grade, you get to compete in a valentine carrier contest. You can make a holder for receiving your valentine's in, bring it in and enter it in the competition for FABULOUS gifts and prizes, (not really, but you do get to win a GIANT Candy Bar of your choice!) When Noah was in the 3rd grade, we entered the contest with a big Robot box, and HE WON FIRST PLACE!!! This year, we helped Jackson make a Submarine for his valentines. I waited anxiously all day to see what the results were. He came in and said......."MOM! I won FIRST PLACE!!!!" WAHOOO!!!! The Tucker Family is 2 for 2 for Valentine Contests. He chose to receive a HUGE NESTLE CRUNCH BAR. His teacher is giving him the prize next week. He is eccstatic to say the least! And, I am impressed that my child won!!! Now, let me see, what can we work on for the next boy in 3 years????? Only time will tell to see if we are VICTORIOUS! Hee hee! Happy Valentine's Day boys, you sure are 2 of my 3 favorite little sweethearts! Enjoy the sweet success!!!!
