This is the 3rd installment of the Cake Decorating Class Buffy and I are taking on Thursday nights. This past week our assignment was to bring 20 cupcakes each and the frosting, and we'd be decorating them all with various different designs. Buffy & I decided we'd make the best use of our time, and our need. So, we opted to decorate our cupcakes in a motif that would work for her sister-in-law (my friend) Diantha's upcoming baby shower a few days after class. We made all kinds of designs, and decided that we loved the ducks, bees (me--my favorite! shocking, I know!) and then the flowers. They all turned out really cute I think, and I think that they were a hit at the shower as well. I am loving this class and the new confidence it is giving me to be able to do things like this for my family and friends. What a fun and delicious (and potentially dangerous!) hobby!
