Tuesday, April 7, 2009 - Part 1

While we were waiting for John's flight to arrive, we drove up to a pretty popular scenic viewpoint called South Mountain. From here, we could see the view of the entire Valley. Very beautiful The boys really liked it. And, they got to hike around for a while. Out of all the pictures we took, I realized I didn't get as many individual desert shots as I would have liked to of each of the kids individually. But, this one of Noah is the best of the bunch. And the view is breathtaking, and his smile is equally as wonderful!

Noah is already becoming a budding photographer. He took many photos on our trip. Even this one of me and Suzanne is a treasured one. Beautiful day, beautiful friendship.

We got to view some wildlife in full force while doing some hiking. We saw this chubby little lizard, and his friend. Well, I got down really close to take a picture of them, and they started running TOWARDS me!!!! I was a bit freaked out, I admit! So, I hurried backwards, and managed to get my shadow, and only ONE of the lizards in the shot! The boys found this hillarious, however! After my unfortunate lizard incident, I decided to try my own hand at an impersonation of them. This is what we recorded.........LOL! Oh my gosh! So life like! Hee hee!

Love the impression girl! If I ever need a laugh, this is what I will look at. Getting sappy for a moment I think that is one the best parts about being a mom, that we can show our goofy side and they love it.
