Friday of Spring Break Favorite Highlights

I have to admit, that it's been crazy busy trying to catch up on laundry, baseball practice and life, since we returned from our AWESOME trip at the beginning of the week. Sooooo, instead of a LONG written description of what we did, I am deciding instead, to break it down by day, but pick my fave photos from each day to post here instead in a series of posts. So, here it goes! Day one of our trip (not counting the travel day, of course)......Friday April 3rd at the Phoenix Zoo and BBQ and our friend's Chris and Mary's house.......
These are a few of my cute girlfriends! Mary, (me) Suzanne and Valerie. We met up at the Phoenix Zoo, and here we are at the Sting Ray exhibit. It was an ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL day that day! Only to be made more beautiful by spending it with some of my fave friendzies!
Daniel had a blast sitting playing in the small water playground at the zoo. The boys asked if they could play in the water fully clothed. My response? It's a gorgeous day! They'll dry quick, and why not? It's VACATION! They took FULL advantage of my unusual consent. So, off they went, and Daniel's favorite response for the entire vacation whenever water was involved. "I LIKE WET!" So Silly! After the frolicking in the water (with Mary's 2 twins, Kyle & Caleb) they needed to dry out, since their clothes were wringing wet! So, they laid out in the grassy area by the water fun, and I decided to try my hand at "getting down on their level" while taking pictures. It really does work folks! Such cuties! The twin in this photo is Caleb, BTW.

Such an enormous tree at the Zoo!!! The boys couldn't resist climbing it, and well, I couldn't resist taking their picture on it! Cute, cute, cute!

These are my friends Stephanie and Eddie. Such a long story to go with this. But, the condensed version? There is another picture set up just like this in our history. Except there was one more person in it. Regardless, we were all in high school (except for Eddie who had graduated a year earlier) and we were on Spring Break at Disney. Steph wanted to re-create the moment, so this is what we ended up with at Chris & Mary's house later that night. They're such a cute couple, and I'm glad we've all gotten to relive a few fun memories!

My friend Stephanie, who was my bestie all through high school. She is an Okalahoma Sooner first and foremost, and always! Such a sweetie, and her daughter Emily, is 16 and adorable! She will ALWAYS be my favorite high school memory. I love ya Steffie!
