It's nice to be able to meet up with a GREAT and FUN friend in the middle of what would otherwise have been an ordinary week day. Buffy and I went to lunch during her lunch hour. And, we tried a place downtown, that I had never been to before. It's called Main Street Deli & Bakery. Cute little place. Had a soda, 1/2 a sandwich and a VERY YUMMY 7 layer salad. More than the food, the chatting and catching up was the best part of our time together. Love ya girlie!
Day 18
This was a week of getting together with SUPER CUTE AND FUN girls! :0) Last week was my adorable cousin's birthday. We had made a date to go for coffee, but we had to reschedule it. So, TODAY was the day! We went to breakfast at Bob Evan's...one of our faves....and had terrific conversation, & fun laughs. Happy Birthday Girlie! I hope you had a wonderful day and a fabulous year ahead!
January 21st - Day 19
I have been diligently working on some different card and scrapbooking projects for Close to My Heart this past week. Today I worked on 6 scrapbook layouts, and 6 different cards. These are just a sampling of the "Topstitch" collection, and some of the things I want to offer for workshop classes in February. I hadn't really been stamping or scrapbooking much lately. And, after working on this as well as the next few months' worth of projects, I am so pleased to say I LOVE IT SO MUCH!!!!!!!!!! I have missed exercising this creative side of my personality! Love, love, love it! And, I'm excited to share that passion with some other people! I can't wait to work on the next set of stuff that I have set aside for tomorrow! YAY!
