To go along with my 'resolution' of enjoing every minute of regular every day life. I decided to participate in a photography/scrapbooking project called Project 365. Esentially you have to take a photo every day for an entire year. I opted to start my picture taking on January 4th. So, this is my first entry in a year long project. Each entry may not always be a "WOW" kind of day. But, like I say, it's always the little things that help to make up a great life. And, I am lucky to have a wonderful one! Wish me luck!

This is the day I finished reading this novel by Kristin Hannah. I was lucky enough to get chosen to host a House Party from www.houseparty.com. They sent me and 11 friends of my choice to each receive 1 hard cover copy of this book to read and discuss on January 30th. I hadn't ever read this author before, so I was excited to participate in this house party. I was also lucky enough to receive an additional 2 books by the same author. I have finished "True Colors" which was wonderful, and just began the 3rd book, "Winter Garden" that hasn't even been released for it's street date yet! This was a good start to 2010!
