Days,14, 15, & 16 of Project 365

Day 14 - January 16th, 2010
My handsome children, are quite the little video game players. If they aren't playing Xbox they are playing Wii, or the computer. They are very competitve with each other. But, it is something that they can do together. And, sometimes, John and I even get in on the action and fun! :0)

January 17th - Day 15
Today would have been my Grandpa's 82nd birthday. We miss you Grandpa.

My parents came over and had dinner with us. I thought homemade bread sounded yummy. I had some beer bread mixes, and Daniel was more than willing to help me bake them! He was amazed at how BUBBLY the mix got when he poured one of his Daddy's beers in the mix! Cheap thrills, but such fun to do together!

January 18, 2010 - Day 16 Project 365
My parents surprised me with a phone call in the afternoon. They wanted to know if the boys wanted to go to dinner with them to DQ. The boys, were like, "Ice Cream?! OF COURSE!" My dad informed me that they thought maybe we would like to have a dinner just the 2 of us. Pretty exciting! I don't remember the last time my parent's did that. It was a nice little unexpected surprise. John and I got dinner at the new Chipotle in town, and did all of our shopping at Sam's Club. This little blessing, is just the kind of thing I'm hoping to be inspired and uplifted by in 2010. It's the little things....so true.
