Days 5, 6, & 7 of Project 365

January 7th - We had a bad snow storm, and the roads were really icy. So, we had a home cooked meal, complete with appetizers. And, John and I shared in a glass of red wine....however, it wasn't very good, and so he opted for us to have the bottle of white instead. I am not a huge wine drinker, but was so glad that we were doing something out of the ordinary. He poured me a glass of white wine, and waited while I took a drink. I couldn't believe how sweet and kind of fruity it was! He burst out laughing, and said, "It's not wine. It's the Sparkling White Grape Juice you had from New Year's!!" LOL! Isn't he so funny? So, it was fancy glasses and sparkling "wine" for the entire family dinner! January 8th - Lucky the stomach flu and winter weather didn't make it too difficult for some girls to come over and have a Ladies Night Out (LNO) playing Bunco! What a great time it was! We had a $10 gift card theme, and it was such a fun time! I really enjoyed spending time with the ladies that were able to come, and I'm already looking forward to the next get together next month!
Jnaury 9th, 2010 - The boys got packages to an awesome new place in town called Extra Innings. It's a new indoor batting cage establishment. So, each week they get to go and have batting practice for 30 minutes each. What a fun time! The boys love it, and are gearing up for spring and summer baseball season!
