One Month Down, Eleven to Go!!

Today was the day that I picked to begin my New Year's Resolution of intentional scrapbooking. I actually did it! I am so glad that I picked this as my goal for the year of 2009. I also invited a few friends to come and join me. Only 2 were able to come, Buffy and Jennifer. But, it was a productive day for all, I think. I was able to get almost all of Daniel's first year of pictures done AND journaled, which is HUGE for me, because, often times, I'll get the pages done, but skip the journaling, with the intent to come back and fill it all in later. This doesn't always happen as I'd like. You know what they said, "The Best Laid Plans...." and all of that! But, today was such a productive day, and I feel like I really accomplished something! After we came upstairs from the craft room, it had been snowing pretty good. I am wondering if the kids will be delayed tomorrow. But, if school gets called off, or if I am able to, I just might continue scrapping for the afternoon. I am kind of hoping for a snow day! LOL! This was such a creative day, and I'm feeling very inspired. I am very glad that I have something to show for my afternoon, too. I'm anxious to see how many pages and/or scrapbooks I can get accomplished this year!!! The possibilities are so exciting to me today! GOODNESS!! I Can't wait until the next date in February, and March, and well, EVERY MONTH OF 2009!
