It has officially been since the middle of September since I had a haircut. OMG! I can't believe I would wait so long! And, I haven't had it colored since then either, and my, oh, my did it totally need it! But, today was THE day! I went to a new salon in town. A girl I used to work with at the salon I had been working at previously, opened a new place, and I was lucky enough to learn about it recently. So, I made an appointment, and it was wonderful! This is the best hair color I've ever had. Very natural, with a few whispy peek-a-boo highlights. I LOVE IT! And, she gave my hair a much needed trim. I had promised Jackson I would grow my hair back out longer, because, he informed me in the summer, "Mommy, I think you're prettier with long hair." So, I mean, who doesn't want to be prettier? Geez kid! So, I am holding up my end of the deal. Today, Heather relayered it and gave me some longer bangs. The layers frame my face which I think is a huge improvement. So, I feel like a brand new woman! Isn't it amazing what something as simple as a haircut can do for a girl? What a great day! Even if it is freezing outside, with windchills in the -10 degree range!
