Okay, I don't think these pictures do this justice at all! But, as you can see I kept trying and trying to get it right. Today I woke up and it was pretty bleak looking outside: cloudy, dreary, you name it. I was supposed to go Birthday shopping for Daniel & Noah with my mom. We did do a bit of shopping, but it was sooo dreary and rainy, and just miserable! We went to breakfast, and then decided to hit a few more places, since I was sans children, and I could help Mom shop for the boys for Christmas too. As I was hurrying in to one of the stores, the rain was falling quickly, hard, sideways! I remarked to her, "You know, it's miserable! I hate when it's raining like this. I could handle it better if it were snowing than this crap!" My mom was astonished, mentioned that I was crazy, and in the store we went. By the time we came out of the store maybe 30 minutes later, I was speechless at first (quite the feat as you all well know!) when I saw HUGE, WHITE SNOWFLAKES falling all over the parking lot!!! I totally broke out laughing my booty off (if only!) and couldn't believe my eyes! My mom, needless to say, wasn't as amused as I was and blamed me for the entire episode! LOL! I told her she could really blame my cousin Tracy, because it was she who enlightened me a few days ago that the weekend weather forecast was calling for "accumulation". My mom isn't full convinced! Hee hee! Oh well, as I type this, the snow is falling at a pretty good clip, and instead of raining sideways, it is SNOWING sideways! The 3 Tucker children are eccstatic! I, on the other hand, an annoyed by my own self because I have wished this upon myself and the other unfortunate individuals who aren't quite ready for the iciness of winter's grasp. AND, I signed up to be a chaperone for Noah's 6th grade camp trip this next week, where, alas, a majority of the classes are OUTSIDE! That's just what I get for the chronic complaining! Oh well, off to dig out a much warmer coat, hat and mitties! I'll keep you posted on what the forecaster's "accumulation" actually turns out to be. Maybe too much for the school bus to take us to camp! LOL! Doubtful, but I wished for snow and I got it, so maybe this will work too! If you study closely enough, pictures #3 & #4 snow the most potential of seeing the snowflakes, as they were falling on my camera lens. But, again, you have to be looking for it. However, when I was snapping them, the snow was just coming down. Guess snowflakes are camera shy today! Wherever you are, keep warm and toasty! Hugs!

"warm and toasty"? It's sunny and 78 degrees on my patio. Wanna come over?
