accessories! I especially LOVE their patterns Java Blue, and then Daisy Daisy. So cute, and fun! They are adorable purses, etc., that are made in Indiana. Today, I had the opportunity to go to a Vera Bradley Bingo for a charity event. This event is sort of similar to the quarter auction that I attended yesterday. You pay a set price, in this case $25, and you play 17 games of bingo all afternoon. The proceeds of this event benefitted Hospice of Miami 
County. What a great cause! I went with my very cute and fun cousin Tracy. It was a great time. We played about 4 or 5 games, when they let us know that we were going to lay a round called "Triple Bingo". As the name implies, you needed to get 3 bingos in any way. I must admit that it was pretty difficult to keep track of all of the blurbs on the bingo card. However, I paid attention enough to get a BINGO!!! Hooray! I got to pick out of 3 different purses, and even though they didn't have Java Blue or Daisy Daisy this time, they did have something that was kinda cute and different called Garden Botanika. It was one of the bigger purses to pick from, and I figured since I carry a lot of junk in my purse, bigger was definitely better! I was REALLY glad when I got back to my seat and showed Tracy, because inside was a cute wallet, as well!!! WAHOOO double bonus!!!! Super exciting! And, the great thing, is that Tracy was as excited as I was. A few games later, there was a Java Blue bag (one I've been wanting in "real" non-bingo/auction life up for grabs. Tracy only needed ONE number. The caller, kept calling numbers, for about 10 or so, and she NEVER hit! It was crazy! It got to the point that I only needed one number too!!! We were both rooting for each other, and knew what the other one needed. We trained our ears to hear each other's number, with the deal that we'd each yell if the other number was called so that it would be the loudest Bingo called. The reason for this is, if there were multiple bingos, then everyone got a purse, but the 1st bingo got the bag they were displaying. The caller called out the next number, and it was 54, which was Tracy's number! We both yelled BINGO! And, low and behold, she got the Java Blue Cargo Bag!!!!! YIPEE!!!! I was so excited for her!!!! We were just commenting how, she likes Vera Bradley, and even the Java Blue pattern, but didn't actually own one herself! I wanted her to win soooo badly!!! I am so glad she did! I know she's going to love, love, love this purse. All in all, we spent $50 to get in between us, and walked away with over $180 in merchandise! Not bad for a fun day with your cousin! I am so glad I spent my weekend helping out 2 very worthy charities, and even won a few wonderful prizes myself! Tracy & I definitely have a date for next year to go and play it again!Me and my winnings along side my "Triple Bingo" Card Winner! WAHOOIE!
