A Blast from the Past!

I went to our local Cracker Barrel to get a gift for my Dad for Father's Day. They're the only place around here that carries that candy he likes, Bit-o-Honey. Well, while I was browsing in the Market, I came across this......
There were several boxes with different decades on them. 1950's, 1960's, and so on through the 1980's. I thought these were the coolest things, and got one for John and myself. They have all of the yummy candies I remembered from being a kid. And, the funny thing is, even though my "palatte" as changed as an adult, THESE are still my very FAVES of all time!!!!!

What a fun trip down memory lane. And delicious too....though I've only savored a ZOTZ candy. I don't know what I'm waiting for, but I guess I just want to enjoy this little bit of nostaligia for as long as I can. Our childhoods are so fleeting.....and even if for a few minutes, this takes me back to a really neat time of my life!
