On Monday, August 24, 2009, our family lost a wonderful man. My Grandpa, Cliff Chronabery, passed away. He was a wonderful, genuine, well respected man. He never had a hateful word for anyone. He was a friend to all. He loved to fish, watch baseball, horse racing, and hunt mushrooms. He was a fabulous card player. He was a fantastic and smooth dancer. His laugh was hearty and true. These are just a very few things that I'm going to miss about my Grandpa. He was one of the biggest influences in my life. I am going to miss him so very much. We shared so many wonderful memories together. I am sad that these memories are finished being made together. My heart is broken at our loss. I can rejoice in the knowledge that he is in no more pain. That he is in Heaven and has a new body. His spirit will forever live on in our hearts and minds. I love you Grampy! I miss you......

Here we are fishing at my Aunt & Uncle's pond. My first time, and with the best fisherman I know!

On my wedding day....one of my fondest memories, there isn't a picture for. Towards the end of my reception, that day, my Grandpa asked me to dance. We danced to Vince Gill's, "I Still Believe In You." I have always cherished that moment in my life. I will always cherish it for the rest of my days to come.

I love this picture. It was taken very impromptu. But, what a sweet memory of the love that my Gramps shared with all of us: from his children, to his grandchildren, to this, his great-grandchildren.

Here are my favorite boys......

Grandpa and Me.....

My favorite thing about my Grandpa was his laughter. He loved to laugh and I loved to laugh with him. When planning his services this week, I came across this picture. I didn't know it existed. But, I have it in a frame now. A reminder of how much we loved each other. How much we loved to laugh. And, the memories of how much laughter we shared over the years.
Gramps was always willing to enjoy life. Even if it meant acting silly. I loved that zest about him!

Being outdoors, relaxing in the sunshine. I love this laid back picture of my Grandpa from a few years ago.
Rest in Peace Grampy. Your legacy will continue on in all of us. Your laughter will ring throughout each of us. Your memory will forever live on. Until we meet up again.......I love you.
