Day 30 - I have been on quite the reading jag lately. John got me this book for Christmas, and I finished it today. Interesting....pretty good book. It didn't end the way I thought it would. But, still a pretty interesting read.
Day 31 - My friend Buffy gave me a Friendship Bread starter. She named it Puff Daddy! LOL! Anyhow, every day you do something to the mix, and on this day, Noah was "Mushing the Bag". I think it's hillarious that the kids are fascinated by this bread mix!
Day 32 - Can I tell you how much I LOVE my crock pot? I love being able to just put in the ingredients and go about my day, and then later on TADAH! Dinner is ready to be served! The Crock Pot....one of our life's small blessings!
Day 33 - Oh how we enjoy pancakes for breakfast! Such an easy, but yummy dinner on a cold and blustery morning! Mmmmmm!!!
Day 34 - Here's that friendship bread again! Today was the day that we had to add flour, sugar, and milk. Daniel was mmoooorrreee than happy to assist me in putting in the ingredients and then MUSH, the bag once again!

Day 35 - It was the 100th Day of School! And when you're in the 1st grade, that is cause for a CELEBRATION! They had to each bring in 100 items in a Ziploc baggie and Daniel decided he wanted to bring in 100 miniature marshmallows. He did a GREAT job counting them all by himself! Then, they had to put 100 items on a T-shirt to wear that day. We chose to iron on 100 Sports Balls. He was so excited and sure loved that shirt! They got goodie bags, and had an entire day filled with 100's of every kind. They even got these groovy glasses to wear home! He loves these too! The extra lucky part of the day? They got sent home an hour early because of the impending storm.

Day 26 - The news channels were calling it "The White Death" and "Snowmaggedon" which I think is hillarious. Basically we were getting the biggest snow storm of our winter. The weather started on Friday morning, and continued all night, until by the next morning, we had a reported 10-1/2" of snow. WOW! It's white everywhere you look and our county has a level 2 Snow Emergency. The roads were very icy. But, we just stayed home all snuggly and warm at home. It's causing quite a mess on the roads, but it's soooo beautiful to watch and look out at.

Day 37 - Well, Laundry. It's a Love/Hate relationship I think for many a housewife. I have been so good at keeping it up daily. And, that snow made us all a little lazy. So, I skipped a day, of folding, and this is what I get. 3 LOADS to fold, and one in the washer now. Today is the day I get it caught up! I think I'll watch a movie while I fold, fold, fold the afternoon away.
