SCARY B-i-n-g-o!

My aunt's birthday falls in the middle of October. Every year, she hosts a get together called that she calls, "Scary Bingo!" I have to admit, that when I first heard of this shindig, I was like, "What the HECK is Scary Bingo?" Allow me to explain.....it's a bingo game, that is Halloween themed and instead of the traditional b-i-n-g-o, you use the letters S-C-A-R-Y. And instead of numbers, it has pictures of halloween things. So, she's made it even more enticing...every time you are a winner, and get a "Scary Bingo" then you win a PRIZE! Well, as you know, if there is a prize involved, I am completely on board!!!! The timing didn't work out for her to host it at her house this year, so we moved the get together to my house. It was basically family only, and this time, we even let the kids play (as usually it's a ladies only event!) There were kid prizes too, and what fun we all had! We had a Mexican Taco dinner buffet and treats and, well, SCARY BINGO, of course!

I was lucky enough to win the first round, and everyone ended up winning a prize of somekind!

I thought it was weird in the very beginning years that we did it. But, now, it's so much fun to laugh, and visit and play together. It's become one of my favorite fall traditions. And, yes, there are even versions of this game for Thanksgiving and Christmas! Maybe even Valentine's day, but I'm not sure. We haven't branched out and did those yet, but it's a tempting idea.....
