The 1st Grade Students put on their fall play. It was called, "The Overgrown, Overripe Turnip". All of the children were supposed to dress like farmers the night of their performance. They looked so cute!!! The turnip definitely held up to it's oversized title! The singing was adorable and the facial expressions were hillarious! I was so glad that Daniel was front and center instead of sideways the entire time for this year's performance. As always, his bright and shining face made the entire performance completely worthwhile. And I do believe that his favorite part was having his family there to watch and support him. Well, the cookies and punch at the reception afterwards probably didn't hurt either!
