Sugar Cookie Time

My Grandma is famous for making many yummy things. But one of my boys' very favorite things is her homemade sugar cookies. Every time they see her, they ask, "Granny do you have any cookies? Did you bake us any?" Obviously they asked her this when she came to see us these past few weeks. But, in light of the situation at hand, she didn't have any cookies, of course. But, since she's been staying here, she promised the boys that she'd make them some. Well, over the weekend, true to her word, she didn't disappoint them! They were all crowded around her while she was mixing, and were all more than willing to help her make their favorite Granny Treat! On Friday night, the 4 of them mixed up the dough and let it sit overnight. Then, on Saturday morning, they cut out different shapes and baked to their little hearts content. I have to admit, they still haven't iced them, yet. But, I think that's because they're so delicious that we all keep eating them. That's the great thing about these cookies, unfrosted or frosted their de.li.cious! I'm just glad for the shots of some great memories they got to make with their Great-Grandma. That's the most delicious part. And, well, yeah, the cookies aren't too bad either!
