Technologically Disadvantaged

Well, I think it's only fitting to have my first posting be about me and my technological challenged personality. As many of you know, I am sadly stuck in a world where there aren't any blogs, or uploaded photos onto the computer or any of that nature. I was inspired by a few friends of mine whose blogspots were fun and wonderful. I figured this would be a great way to keep in touch with all of our family and friends near and far. However, I failed to consider that I would need to be the one to put all of these fun and quirky items on the page. With the help of my friends Diantha and Mary, I have been enabled to do these few minor things that are up and running on the page now. WAHOO ladies! But, the funny thing is, our computer has been giving us fits, going down every day (multiple times in fact) and me with the techno challenge disease haven't been able to upload the pictures I wanted. I am always relying on my cute husband John, or Noah, who comprehend the electronic world way more than I could. However, today, I thought I could "help" by not disturbing them AGAIN, and try to fix the computer problem myself. Instead, I have managed to make no change with the computer, but singlehandedly destroy our working land line for our phone. Mary was a casualty of this swift act! LOL! So, now, we are phoneless, and I am typing this on John's laptop. I'm impressed he even entrusted me to touch it after what I'd just accomplished with the phone! I might consider taking my hard earned money from the salon and investing in my own laptop! Hee hee! However, it is my personal goal to overcome my challenges and become more techno savvy like the friends of mine who have graudated into the 21st century and beyond! Maybe within the next few days, I will be empowered to train my brain into mastering the blogspot, upload pictures section, picasa, and the likes! Wish me luck!
