I am so stinkin' excited! I uploaded the pictures I wanted to use for the next few postings, and I did it by myself this time! Miracles never cease I guess!
I added some pictures of things just around our house. First of all, our house itself, from the front, the back, and our driveway. Plus, our pool, which the boys have spent many hours swimming and playing in all summer long. I put a picture of John's shop too. He's out there a lot, so it's definitely a big part of our daily lives, of course.
Then, there are our lovely pets. Hermione was the first to arrive from Santa about 3 years ago. She is a black boxer and has a little scar on the top of her head. She's kind of "Dobby"-like for those of you HP fans. But, she is sweet, and the boys love her. Then, there is Maggie, aka Magonagall, who is also a boxer, but about 1 year younger, even though she towers over Hermione. She is a sweet girl, and we love her very much. At last, there is our cat, Crookshanks (notice any kind of trend here with naming these pets????) Many of you will be shocked that I in fact, own a cat! I was shocked too! But, he is a great cat. OUTDOOR cat of course! LOL! But, for an outdoor cat, he is very friendly, and for whatever the reason, has taken to me the most. I find that hillarious, since I have a strong aversion to felines, mostly, as many of you can attest to. But, he chases our field mice away, and is loved by all of us; in spite of myself, I am kinda fond of the little fellow myself!
The other pictures are of our new refrigerator and new bedding for the Master Bedroom. With a family of five, we were in need of something a little more substantial for a growing brood of 3 boys. So, this was a nice addition. I love that the freezer is on the bottom, and the french doors are cool. I am especially enjoying that there is a water and ice dispenser in the door. No more filling up the dreaded water trays! WAHOO! I'm super excited about that. The bedding came in to play recently, because of those lovely boxers we discussed earlier. They ripped my last quilt by jumping on my bed. They think they are human and should sleep in our bed, and so, in turn, they ruined my last bedding set. Of course, I LOVED that set. But, I found something with the blue and chocolate color scheme I already had. This is a little more "formal" then I had before, but it's pretty and something totally different from last time. Also, note the TONS of pillows. I always wanted a bed that had pillows like that. Now that I have them, I think, "Man, this is a TON of pillows to put on this darn bed every morning!" Hee hee! But, it's pretty and at this point, that's all that matters! The doggies have been banned from the bed. So, we shall see how that goes. They have probably snuck in there while I was typing this.

Cute house, love the yard. I wish we had a big yard with a little bit neighbors, someday maybe.
