A few days ago, my aunt's boyfriend was doing some yard work for us. I was so glad to have someone help out with that project. All of a sudden, I see him running across the yard, and back again, carrying a cardboard box. It wasn't too long, and the boys got home from school. After they'd settled in, Rome came in and showed them the "treasure" he had found! He had found a next of baby bunnies that their mama had left behind. (So Sad!) He was going to rescue them before our cat got to them. (Our cat just loves, to chase, and much on baby bunnies! Gross!) But, before he could take them, he let the boys hold them. Jackson of course, loved this, because he is a miniature Dr. Doolittle. They begged to keep a bunny, but their Daddy said no. Whew! Another pet headed off at the pass. I have to admit, that little cutie was adorable and sweet.
